1. Child Safety & Parental Consent
Mentora Learning Technologies operates after-school educational academies designed specifically for young innovators in Classes IV–VIII (ages 8–15). We uphold the highest standards of child online safety:
- All student accounts, trial class registrations, and monthly subscriptions require verified parental or legal guardian consent.
- We do not display student full names, contact info, or personal phone numbers to any third parties or public directories.
- Live sessions are conducted in private micro-cohorts (capped at ≤ 8 students) supervised by certified, background-verified educators.
2. Information We Collect & Why
We practice data minimization and only collect information essential for academic progress, live instruction, and logistics:
Account & Guardian Info
Parent name, parent email, WhatsApp contact number, and student grade band for onboarding and schedule reminders.
Academic Metrics
Curriculum milestone completion, scratch/python exercises, quiz scores, and streak data to compile Sunday parent digests.
Shipping Information (Physical Kits Only)
For students in physical kit tracks (AeroFlight & STEM Kit Lab), we collect recipient name, postal street address, 6-digit Indian PIN code, and contact phone solely for BlueDart/Delhivery courier dispatch.
3. Zero Raw Audio Storage Guarantee
We believe voice data belongs to children and their families. When students practice speaking in Dia AI modules:
- Speech evaluation is executed browser-side using native speech-to-text APIs.
- No raw audio or voice recordings are ever saved, stored, or sold on Mentora cloud servers.
- Only compact statistical metadata (e.g. grammar accuracy percentage, syllable fluency) is computed and retained for the student's score card.
4. Payment & Financial Security
All monetary transactions for the Mentora Monthly Pass (₹800/mo) are processed securely through Razorpay, an RBI-regulated and PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway:
- Mentora servers never receive, store, or log credit card numbers, debit card details, CVVs, or bank netbanking passwords.
- Payments are authenticated using bank-level 2FA (OTP) and secured by SHA-256 HMAC signature verification.
5. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023
As a parent or guardian, you have full control over your child's digital footprint:
- Right to Review: Inspect all learning records, scores, and profile details anytime via the Parent Portal (/dashboard/parent).
- Right to Correction: Update incorrect phone numbers, delivery addresses, or student grade levels at any time.
- Right to Erasure: Request permanent deletion of all account data and records by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
